OUR MISSION
To co-ordinate, promote and protect the national interest of Republic of Ghana within the Republic of Namibia and the Republic of Botswana.
In fulfillment of our Diaspora Engagement mandate, relevant information on happenings in Ghana and Mission’s activities can be obtained at the High Commission.
The Ghanaian Communities in Namibia and Botswana, other stakeholders and visitors are encouraged to contact the High Commission for relevant information on Ghana, particularly, trade and investment opportunities, tourism potential, consular information among others.
OUR FUNCTION
The Mission is a reference for general information and Public Affairs services on Ghana, engages in bilateral assignments relating to an informed market of policies and procedures on behalf of the Republic of Ghana.

CONSULAR & WELFARE SECTION
The Consular Section provides appropriate Immigration and Consular services to Ghanaians and non-Ghanaian in Namibia and Botswana.
This section offers the following services:
- Document Processing
- Visa
- Passport
- Attestation
- Travel Certificate
- Renunciation of Citizenship
- International Press Accreditation
- Welfare Functions
- Ghanaian Citizenship Registration
- Organization of the Ghanaian community in Namibia, with same offered by its concurrent accredited country.
- Prison visits
- Hospital visits
- Assistance to stranded Ghanaians to return to Ghana e.g. stowaways and illegal immigrants
- Consular visits to Immigration detention camps
- Evacuation of Ghanaians
- Repatriation of Mortal Remains of Ghanaians to Ghana.
